Our Roots
In 2005, the Tobian brothers started the event entertainment company Utah Live Bands, LLC to service high-end events. As the company grew, they found themselves providing more and more event services like Audio/Visual, stages, pipe and drape, lighting and event design. Eventually the production arm of Utah Live Bands grew so much that it became it’s own company. Today, Skylark Productions has 4 event arms: Skylark Event Production, Utah Live Bands, Skylark Media, & Empire Casino Parties. Skylark is the in-house AV company for many venues in Utah and produces events for some of the largest companies in the world in places like Dubai, France, Italy, Portugal, South Korea and in many countries all over the Caribean and North and South America.

Instead, we will help you brainstorm how your vision can be achieved. Our greatest successes have come from pushing our limits, discovering new techniques and equipment, and trying new ideas.
A fun example of this is shown in the video below. A recent client wanted us to create a lightning storm at their Halloween party. We played with a few ideas and some state of the art equipment and technology and produced the lighting storm you see in the video below. The client was literally in tears. Best of State - 53 AWARDS!!!
… and Counting!
The Skylark team have been the recipients of 53 Best of State awards in our home state of Utah. Eventually the awards organization asked us to be their official media company and we produce all the content and media services for the Best of State Gala. We have established ourselves as the premier source for entertainment, and event production not only in Utah, but all over the world.
A few examples of events we have produced: The entertainment for the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, which is the largest convention held in the Middle East, Entertainment and production for the Microsoft National Convention for multiple years, Events for BP Oil, Ebay, Verizon, Cannon, Mass Mutual and for countless celebrities including Steve Forbes, Ivanka Trump, Robert Redford, Boris Johnson, Dr. Phil and many many more.
